Introducing Arukore Simba Camp, Serengeti: Our newest addition to the Simba Portfolio is nestled within the heart of Serengeti National Park, Arukore Simba Camp offers a luxurious safari experience amidst the pristine wilderness, just 25 km from Seronera Airstrip. Named after the nearby Arukore River, our camp embraces the rich heritage of the Ikoma tribe, whose ancestors once hunted along its banks.

Luxurious Lodge for safari travellers
Arukore Simba Camp features 12 luxurious permanent tented camps, offering singles, twins, and doubles. Each en-suite tent boasts an outdoor shower and magnificent views of the savannah. Decorated with local fabrics and hardwood furniture, our rooms provide a cozy and elegant retreat, complete with mosquito nets and full amenities. Powered by solar energy and equipped with solar-heated water, our lodge prioritizes sustainability and eco-friendliness. Family rooms are not available at this time, and children under the age of 13 are not accommodated. We welcome bookings for adults and children aged 13 to 18 years old.
Each room has a torch (flashlight) and umbrella for use during your stay with us.
There’s a secure safe for your valuables. A whistle is also provided in case you need to alert the security guards.
As the solar lighting may be dimmer than you’re used to, we highly recommend you bring a headlamp or book-light for reading in bed at night.
Due to our solar electrical system it’s not possible to use a hair dryer at Arukore Simba Camp. We kindly request that you don’t attempt to plug in a hair dryer as in all likelihood it will blow the system resulting in loss of power to the entire lodge.
We can only accommodate CPAP (sleep apnea machines) if they run on battery power, as we don’t have 24-hour electricity. You must be fully versed in how the machine works and able to assist the lodge staff in charging the battery. Please advise when booking if you use this device.

Our restaurant offers an exquisite selection of continental cuisine, prepared with the finest local ingredients. We place a strong emphasis on healthy dining, featuring an abundance of fresh fruits and vegetables.
For special occasions, we organize delightful outdoor barbecues. Additionally, if you prefer to take a picnic breakfast with you, we are happy to accommodate your needs.

- Unique Lunch Boxes: We have put extra effort into developing a distinctive lunch box. When dining at the lodge, you will be served a variety of quiches, pizzas, and salads. During colder weather, we offer comforting options like spaghetti or curry and rice.
- Flexible Meal Schedule: We offer flexible meal times if needed—please inform the management in advance. Let us know about any special dietary requirements or events such as birthdays or anniversaries as early as possible.

The common area of the lodge houses reception, lounge, bar, pool bar, dining room, viewing deck, pool with sun deck and the campfire area. There is free wireless Internet in the inside common areas .On arrival you’ll be welcomed to reception with a refreshing towel and cool glass of juice
